Workers' Comp.

What is workers' compensation law?

Workers' compensation is a state-mandated insurance program designed to provide financial support and medical benefits to employees who are injured while performing their job duties. In New Jersey, workers' compensation laws are in place to protect workers and ensure they are compensated for injuries, illnesses, or disabilities that occur as a result of their work.

There are many different injuries that can result in a workers' compensation claim, including, but not limited to:

- Slip-and-falls, machinery accidents, or other physical injuries;
- Repetitive stress injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, back pain, or other similar conditions;
- Occupational diseases caused by exposure to harmful substances or working conditions; and
- Psychological injuries.
